The Story So Far
The broader cryptocurrency landscape is currently experiencing mixed momentum, yet the closure of the LIBRA investigation is notable. Judge Martínez de Giorgi ruled that while President Milei’s endorsement may have boosted the token’s visibility, it did not equate to fraudulent activity. The investigation’s end removes a layer of uncertainty surrounding LIBRA, which was previously tied to over $99 million in withdrawals linked to its creator. This ruling could pave the way for a more favorable regulatory environment for crypto projects in Argentina.
