Pump.fun, the Solana platform best known as a factory for meme coins, now sells trading card packs too.
On October 19, 2026, the app integrated Collector Crypt’s gacha pack-opening feature and its trading card game marketplace. Collector Crypt’s native token, CARDS, rose 19% after the news, according to CoinGecko data.
The early numbers suggest this was more than a novelty tab. Users opened approximately $2 million in packs on the first day. That came from around 1,700 new users who engaged with the feature.
What actually launched
The integration lets Pump.fun users buy randomized packs of tokenized, graded trading cards. The inventory spans Pokémon, One Piece and a range of sports cards.
The launch-day volume carried real weight inside Collector Crypt’s own business. Pump.fun’s users drove roughly 20% of Collector Crypt’s total daily gachapon volume on day one.
How the pack machine works
Collector Crypt’s model sits at the intersection of physical collectibles and onchain trading. Each digital pack is linked to physical trading cards.
Once a card is pulled, the owner has options. The card can be traded on the blockchain, or it can be redeemed for the physical item.
The randomness is handled by a verifiable random function. That’s a cryptographic method designed so anyone can check that a draw wasn’t rigged after the fact.
Collector Crypt also offers a buyback on pulled cards. Depending on the pack tier, it will repurchase cards at 85% to 93% of their insured value.
A strong year for Collector Crypt
The Pump.fun deal lands on top of an already busy 2026 for Collector Crypt. It has frequently ranked among the top revenue-generating decentralized applications on Solana. Collector Crypt has also posted strong growth in user engagement over the same stretch.
What this means for Pump.fun, Collector Crypt and CARDS holders
For CARDS holders, the 19% move reflects a simple bet: more distribution should mean more volume. If Pump.fun keeps routing a sizable share of gachapon activity, Collector Crypt’s revenue picture could benefit.
Around 1,700 users and approximately $2 million in packs is a strong opening, but the real test is whether those users come back next week. The more useful signal will be whether Pump.fun’s share of daily volume holds near that roughly 20% mark over time.
There are risks on the product side too. Gacha mechanics are, at their core, games of chance, and the buyback range means instant sellers absorb a 7% to 15% haircut on insured value.
