Seoul's Mapo District will provide delivery platform workers up to 200,000 won ($140) each to cover industrial accident insurance premiums, safety equipment and health screenings.
For insurance premiums, the district will reimburse 90% of out-of-pocket payments made between November 2025 and October this year, up to 100,000 won.
Riders can receive up to an additional 100,000 won by choosing either safety equipment such as helmets and dashboard cameras, or a health screening for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.
The program is open to delivery workers who live in Mapo District or work for a platform company based in the area. Applicants must first register as job seekers with the Mapo Employment Agency.
Applications will be accepted until Nov. 6 at the district office's employment cooperation division or by email. The program may close early if funds run out.
