The "Wires Crossed" quest in Arc Raiders wants you to obtain three specific Arc parts, then go to three different maps and attach said parts to antennas. While the game tells you everything you need — which parts and where to go — it's still a tricky quest to complete, because those parts are by no means easy to find, and the prompts to interact with at each location are also somewhat hidden.
Here's a full walkthrough for the "Wires Crossed" quest in Arc Raiders.
'Wires Crossed' quest steps in Arc Raiders
There are just three quest steps for "Wires Crossed" in Arc Raiders, and they can be completed in any order:
- On The Blue Gate, attach a Snitch Scanner to the antenna at Pilgrim's Peak.
- On Spaceport, attach a Surveyor Vault to the antenna on top of the Launch Towers.
- On Buried City, attach a Sentinel Firing Core to the antenna on the roof of the Grandioso Apartments.
Where to attach a Snitch Scanner to the antenna at Pilgrim's Peak
First up, you need to attach a Snitch Scanner to the antenna at Pilgrim's Peak. This is the simplest of the three because Snitch Scanners are fairly plentiful: just shoot down a Snitch and loot it.
Head to Blue Gate, and you'll find Pilgrim's Peak at the northernmost point on the map. At the back, there's a zipline you can take to the very top. Look to your left when you get up there, and you'll see a prompt to attach the Snitch Scanner to an antenna.
Where to attach a Surveyor Vault to the antenna on top of the Launch Towers
Next up, Spaceport. However, first you need to obtain a Surveyor Vault. Surveyors are one of the rarer Arc machines in the game, and they're also one of the most interesting because they're not hostile until you shoot at them. They look like big metal spheres and can be found rolling around any map, trying to avoid raiders.
If you see a blue beam of light shooting up into the sky, that's a Surveyor, doing its thing. I recently found two on the beach on Riven Tides, and have previously found them near the Grandioso Apartments on Buried City and on the outskirts of the Spaceport map. Surveyors can tank a lot of damage, but parts of them will break off periodically, which you can loot. As soon as you get your hands on a Surveyor Vault, head to Spaceport.
To find the antenna on top of the Launch Towers, head to the very top of the central location using the zipline. When you get to the top, you need to interact with a small grey box on the western tower.
Where to attach a Sentinel Firing Core to the antenna at the roof of the Grandioso Apartments
Finally, you need to get your hands on a Sentinel Firing Core. Sentinels are long-range sniper turrets that can be found in a few specific locations, although they don't always spawn. Some of the more reliable places include the southern corner of the Research & Administration building on Dam Battlegrounds, the eastern corner of the South Trench Tower on Spaceport, and at the bottom of the tower at Pilgrim's Peak on Blue Gate.
You can get a Sentinel Firing Core by simply looting one of these destroyed turrets. However, if you're struggling to find one, you can also find them by looting Arc Couriers, which are the white, downed Arc machines you'll find scattered across all the maps (except Stella Montis).
Got your hands on a Sentinel Firing Core? Head to the Grandioso Apartments on Buried City and climb to the roof, using either the stairs or the zipline inside. The antenna you're looking for is on the eastern side of the southern block, behind a white cylindrical tower. Approach it and interact with the prompt to install the part.
Return to Celeste when you've completed all three objectives, and you'll receive 8,000 XP, three electrical components, a Renegade I battle rifle, two ziplines, and two crash mats.
