Thomas Davis has expressed his disappointment after Kay Adams left one quarterback out of the MVP race conversation.
With six weeks of the NFL season behind us, there are already a few standout options when it comes to who will be crowned the MVP in 2026.
Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills has been in top form, Brock Purdy has been key for the undefeated San Francisco 49ers, while Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker III have been shining for the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, Davishas suggested to Adams that Bryce Young should be in the conversation.
Speaking on the Up & Adams show, the former Carolina Panthers star said that Young is ‘playing some of the best football of any quarterback’ and that the Panthers could sneak up on a lot of people.
He stated: “I sat here and I watched you right, as we got ready to start and I hear you talk about the NFC teams and who has the chance to win and who is in the MVP race.
“I didn’t hear Bryce Young’s name once, Kay. I’m disappointed in that because Bryce Young is playing some of the best football of any quarterback in the NFL right now and the Panthers are a team that, we’re going to sneak up on a lot of people because nobody is talking about what this team is capable of.”
The Panthers are 3-2 ahead of taking on the 1-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, October 25.
