The car of an opposition member of a local election commission was vandalized in broad daylight on Thursday.
Democratic Party (DS) commission member Boban Randjelovic said a rear window was smashed. He is a member of the municipal election commission in Aleksinac. Randjelovic told N1 he reported the damage which the police inspected the scene and collected a stone found as evidence. The incident was classified as property damage.
He said the attack was linked to his work on the election commission, where recent heated meetings included disputes over procedures for voting outside polling stations. He also said his car's brakes had previously been cut, as had those of a neighbor with the same model of car.
