Zong has won four prestigious awards in the Telecommunication category at the Asian Innovation Excellence Awards 2026, held in Singapore on 20th Oct. The recognition underscores Zong’s position as Pakistan’s Leading Technology Services Enterprise and its ability to translate advanced technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and home-grown engineering expertise into meaningful outcomes for customers, business partners, and Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
Across brand, network, consumer services, and business operations, Zong continues to demonstrate how innovation can strengthen customer experience, create differentiated value, and enable a more intelligent and connected digital future.
Zong won the Pakistan Brand Innovation of the Year award for its AI-powered 5G launch campaign, “AIsa Hai Future”. Blending artificial and augmented intelligence with Pakistani creativity, the campaign reimagined the nation’s digital future through a distinctive, customer-focused brand narrative. Challenging conventional telecom advertising, it positioned AI as both the creative medium and the central message, bringing the promise of future-ready technology closer to consumers. The campaign helped narrow the brand equity gap, achieve parity in unaided 5G brand association, and strengthen brand differentiation through enhanced uniqueness and memorability.
Extending this innovation from brand promise to network performance, Zong received Pakistan Technology Innovation of the Year for its AI-driven Self-Intelligent Radio Access Network (RAN) Optimization platform, reiterating the advancement toward autonomous, AI-enabled network operations. Developed in-house, the platform autonomously detects network congestion, identifies and implements corrective actions, and verifies outcomes. By enabling faster issue resolution and intelligent network optimization, the solution enhances network responsiveness and performance, particularly during periods of high demand, supporting delivering a more consistent and reliable customer experience.
Translating customer needs into practical service innovation, Zong won Pakistan Consumer Service Innovation of the Year award for its “My5 – Family Sharing Package.” Designed around the evolving connectivity needs of households, My5 offers a flexible family connectivity solution complemented by value added benefits, including embedded insurance coverage, lifestyle perks and digital streaming access. By bringing connectivity and lifestyle benefits together in one offering, the package provides families with greater flexibility, convenience, and value, including an alternative to traditional home broadband services. The award recognizes Zong’s customer-first approach to developing relevant, accessible, and future-ready solutions that address everyday needs and enrich connected living.
Complementing these customer-facing innovations, DI-CAPE, Zong’s digital commission governance engine, won Pakistan Financial Innovation of the Year. Through intelligent automation, the platform strengthen business governance, improves process efficiency and transparency, and enhances partner enablement across Zong’s distribution ecosystem. This recognition highlights how digital innovation can create value beyond the customer interface by enabling more efficient, transparent, and reliable business processes for partners.
Commenting on this international recognition, Zong’s Head of Strategy & Company Spokesperson, Nabila Yazdani said: “Winning four prestigious honors at the Asian Innovation Excellence Awards 2026 validates Zong’s technology leadership and commitment to translating 5G, AI, and home-grown digital innovation into meaningful impact.
