Matchday 3 of the Champions League wraps up Wednesday with another heavyweight bout between European giants. One day after Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona's classic, it will be Bayern Munich hosting Arsenal at the Allianz Arena in a battle of the champions of Germany and England.
Both sides are off to strong starts in the League Phase with Bayern Munich on four points and Arsenal winners of their first two matches. The Bundesliga side were stunned by a late equalizer from Viking last week and also lost Michael Olise for this match due to a red card. The Gunners have posted a pair of clean sheets with victories over Napoli and Lille.
The Gunners have had to fight back against the "boring" label as they won the Premier League title and reached the Champions League final last season. But that description of their style is of no concern to the players.

"I think you can see the way we play, you can see different type of ways of playing that we have," said goalkeeper David Raya. "I think we are more prepared this year than last year so hopefully we can keep that going, keep that streak of winning and keeping clean sheets that will help us and get through it."
Bayern Munich will also be without Joshua Kimmich, who is away from the team due to a death in the family and may also not have manager Vincent Kompany, who is dealing with a viral infection.
Real Madrid hoping to continue strong home form
Real Madrid hosts RB Leipzig looking to win a seventh straight match in all competitions at the Bernabéu. José Mourinho's side have won their first two League Phase matches and cannot be caught looking ahead to Sunday's El Clásico against Barcelona.
Leipzig rebounded from losing 4-1 to Como on Matchday 1 with a win over Como last week. They will have to slow Yan Diomande, who played last season with the German side and has goals in his past two matches.
Other matches on Wednesday will see Aston Villa hosting Viking, Lens traveling to Belgium to take on Club Brugge, Inter Milan facing Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Betis meeting Feyenoord and LASK traveling to Portugal to play Sporting.
