By Zoila Palma: Staff from the National Health Insurance (NHI) and members of the Belize Medical and Dental Association (BMDA) have gathered for a three-day forum celebrating NHI’s 25th anniversary.
The first day of the BMDA’s 43rd Annual Congress highlighted NHI’s achievements in making healthcare more accessible and affordable for Belizeans, including expanding essential services to all six districts.
The Congress focuses on advancing clinical practice in Belize and concludes on Saturday, October 17.
