Actress Angelique Gerber is reportedly preparing to divorce former Springbok rugby player Jacques Potgieter after they appeared to reconcile earlier in 2026. The former 7de Laan star and Potgieter, who share three children, separated in 2022 but have remained legally married.
In an article published on 14 October 2026, The South African reported that Gerber was ready to move on from the relationship. The publication also reported that her lawyer said their latest separation was in the best interests of their three children.

Gerber and Potgieter began dating in 2014 and married in 2016 at a Durbanville estate. They welcomed three children between 2016 and 2018.
Their relationship came under public scrutiny in 2021 after alleged Instagram Stories about infidelity circulated. Potgieter denied posting the messages, claiming his account had been hacked. Gerber subsequently shared a cryptic message stating, “The truth always comes out”.
