UK-based fintech Hyperlayer has raised £19.5 million in a Series A2 funding round led by repeat investor Flintlock Capital. Mouro Capital and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments also took part in the round, alongside other new and repeat backers.
Founded in 2023 by Rob Rooney and Paul Rolles, Hyperlayer offers a programmable financial services platform that enables firms to build and launch personalised financial products without replacing their core banking systems.
The Series A2 round builds on Hyperlayer's £30 million fundraise in October 2025, which was earmarked for international expansion and growing its product and engineering teams.
The latest injection of capital will go towards the same goals, with Hyperlayer stating that it plans to increase the headcount of its product, engineering, and implementation teams and accelerate its expansion across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the US.
Following the Series A2 round, Hyperlayer is now valued at £195 million.

Board director and former chief operating officer (COO) Louise Chan has also transitioned to the role of chief commercial officer (CCO), while former chief strategy officer Ben Helps steps in as COO.
