President John Dramani Mahama has announced a GH¢200 million allocation in the 2027 Budget to complete the long-delayed expansion of the Ghana Police Hospital in Accra.
The funding is expected to cover the outstanding costs of the 22-year-old project and resolve the dispute between the government and the contractor.
When completed, the expanded facility will add 106 beds to the hospital, bringing its total capacity to more than 300 beds.
It will also have a 12-bed intensive care unit, an accident and emergency centre, consulting rooms, surgical theatres and modern diagnostic equipment. Read More.
