Honor is going to unveil three new WIN series phones on October 21 in China. The cheapest among the trio is said to be the WIN Turbo 2, and it packs a massive battery without the active cooling upgrades.
Honor is gearing up for the launch of its WIN 2 series of gaming phones. There are three phones in the lineup, namely the Honor WIN 2, WIN RT 2, and WIN Turbo 2. While the company has shared some details about the first two, the Turbo 2 remained a mystery, at least till now. A leaker has shared specifications as well as an image showing the WIN Turbo 2.
The information comes from ‘Experience more’ on Weibo and shows detailed specifications for the Honor WIN Turbo 2. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 chip and feature a 6.89-inch 2K 185Hz LTPS OLED screen. The WIN Turbo 2 may carry a massive 12,070 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. For reference, the WIN Turbo came with a 10,000 mAh battery that supported 80W wired and 27W wireless charging.
At the back, the primary camera is said to be 50 MP with OIS. It will carry the same durability ratings as the WIN 2 with IP68/IP69/IP69K. But unlike the WIN 2, there are no active fans to keep the device cool. The leaker adds that the WIN Turbo 2 will be offered in 8 GB +256 GB/12 GB + 256 GB/16 GB + 256 GB/12 GB + 512 GB/16 GB + 512 GB configurations.
The WIN Turbo 2 is expected to be the cheapest of the three new phones. Honor will launch all three on October 21, and there seem to be two color options: black and white. The layout and number of cameras inside the camera island differ from the WIN 2 and WIN RT 2. It also seems like there is no variant with the colorful design on the back.
