The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) highlighted the focus of its programs on the care and capacity-building of girls, as well as the enhancement of their educational and empowerment opportunities to shape their character and hone their skills, coinciding with the International Day of the Girl Child, observed annually on October 11.
WAMY commended Saudi Arabia’s efforts to care for girls and protect their rights through a legislative and institutional framework that bolsters their access to education and healthcare while providing a safe, supportive environment.
It emphasized that these efforts are rooted in the values of the true Islamic faith and align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 regarding human development, generational empowerment, and enhancing the role of girls in societal development.
