The Internal Affairs (MUP) and Defense Ministries (MoD) denied ferrying former President Aleksandar Vucic to a campaign event in the central Serbian city of Kragujevac.

Both ministries said the helicopter in a video posted on social media does not belong to them.
The MUP said the helicopter on the video is not part of the Helicopter Unit fleet, adding that the unit never flew that type of helicopter. “We want to inform the public that from the moment Vucic resigned as President of the Republic of Serbia, the MUP has not been sent a single official request to engage the Helicopter Unit to transport him,” a statement said.
An MoD statement said that none of the Serbian military’s aircraft had been engaged to transport anyone outside the MoD and Army of Serbia, including Vucic, since he resigned as president.
Earlier, Vucic denied reports on social media that he flew to Kragujevac in a helicopter for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) campaign event.
