Five-star quarterback recruit Jayden Wade has been firmly committed to the Georgia Bulldogs since he announced his commitment in Nov. 2025. Now, Wade, the No. 1 quarterback recruit in the class of 2028, appears to be weighing his options.
Wade is slated the visit the Michigan Wolverines this weekend as Michigan hosts the Indiana Hoosiers in a major Big Ten clash. Wade is the No. 7 ranked recruit in the junior class, per the 247Sports composite rankings. Wade is the third-best recruit in Florida.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound quarterback is mobile with dual-threat capability. Wade plays high school football for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He is Georgia's top commitment in the class of 2028.
Wade already visited Georgia for the Bulldogs' dominant win over Western Kentucky. He has visited Georgia numerous times over the years.
Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia are going to have to fight off stiff competition to sign Wade. The Bulldogs have earned commitments from five-star quarterbacks Dylan Raiola and Jared Curtis in recent years, but Georgia was unable to sign both players after they elected to flip to Nebraska and Vanderbilt, respectively, just before the early signing period.
In 2025, Wade passed for 20 touchdowns and two interceptions. The Georgia commit added 243 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. Wade is having another productive, efficient season in 2026.
