Earlier this week, we asked fans how many games the 4-2 Michigan Wolverines will win the rest of the regular season with Tommy Carr as Michigan’s starting quarterback. Here are the results from the survey.

40% of fans believe Michigan will win three games with Carr as QB1, 26% say three games, 15% voted six wins, 11% say one or two wins, and 8% believe it’ll be five wins for Carr.
Carr’s ceiling and that of the Michigan team will greatly hinge on how they perform this Saturday versus No. 6 Indiana. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Indiana is a 7.5-point favorite.
Here’s a look at Michigan’s remaining schedule and their chances of victory in all six contests according to ESPN Analytics.
- Oct. 24 vs. No. 6 Indiana: 17.8% chance of winning
- Oct. 31 at Rutgers: 80.8% chance of winning
- Nov. 7 vs. Michigan State: 77.3% chance of winning
- Nov. 14 at Oregon: 18.3% chance of winning
- Nov. 21 vs. UCLA: 61.7% chance of winning
- Nov. 28 at Ohio State: 8.4% chance of winning
ESPN leans towards Michigan winning just three of six games, but I think it’s incredibly fluid situation now with Carr as the starting quarterback. We simply don’t know how good Michigan’s offense can become with him as QB1 — maybe the offense will be infinitely better, or maybe more lackluster results are to come. However, if Michigan beats Indiana, there’s a chance that Michigan wins more than four of its six remaining games.
