Cam Skattebo didn’t mince his words Thursday, three days ahead of the Giants’ pivotal matchup against the surging Texans on Sunday in Houston.
“Six plays last week kind of killed me,’’ he told The Post after practice.
To be clear: The Giants’ second-year running back wasn’t complaining.
This was simply a young player delivering raw, unvarnished truth as he spoke about last Sunday’s game against the Saints at MetLife Stadium, where he went from being the team’s lead rusher in the first five games (81 carries for 294 yards) to not touching the ball once in the game.
