Kenya Included in Hong Kong’s Visa-Free Arrangement
Kenya’s inclusion means Kenyan citizens are among the nationalities listed as eligible for visa-free visits of up to 90 days.
Other African countries appearing on the list include Botswana, Egypt, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The arrangement covers a wide range of nationalities from different regions, including countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific.
However, travellers should confirm the conditions applicable to their particular passport before booking their trip. Visa-free entry does not automatically guarantee admission, and visitors must comply with Hong Kong’s immigration rules.
What Travellers Should Know Before Visiting Hong Kong
Eligible travellers should consult the Hong Kong Immigration Department’s official guidance to confirm their permitted length of stay and any entry conditions that apply to their nationality.
They should also ensure that their travel documents are valid and that they can meet any requirements imposed by immigration authorities.
For Kenyan travellers considering a visit, the inclusion of Kenya on the list offers a visa-free entry option for short-term trips, subject to the applicable rules.
