A former West Yorkshire Police officer has been charged with possessing indecent images of children and engaging in sexual communication with a child.
Zachary Haile, 27, who was previously based at Leeds District, has been charged with three counts of possessing indecent photographs.
He has also been charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child.
The charges relate to alleged offences dating back to 2022, when Haile was off duty.
He is due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (Oct 20).
