By Breaking Belize News Staff (H): Belizean tour operators have just wrapped up a week of meetings with some of the most influential people in the cruise industry.
The Belize Tourism Board led a local delegation to the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association’s 32nd Annual Cruise Conference, held from October 12 to 16 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
More than 700 delegates attended, including cruise line executives, destination leaders and government officials from across the Caribbean and the Americas.
Belize’s operators held private meetings with cruise line executives, presenting their tours and pursuing direct contracts for the upcoming cruise season.
They also met with tour operators from other destinations to exchange ideas and explore ways to work together on improving the experience for cruise visitors.
The BTB thanked the operators who took part for representing the country with professionalism and pride.
