Leave it to Tokyo to take the term “sushi-go-round” literally. The Sushi Bus is exactly what it sounds like: a double-decker bus with a working conveyor-belt sushi lane on the open-top upper deck, serving all-you-can-eat sushi on a 70-minute sightseeing tour of the city’s landmarks.
We joined a media preview ride ahead of the launch to find out if it’s actually worth ¥16,000 a head. Short answer: yes. It’s a little pricey, but it’s a lot of fun, and sushi on an open-top bus might just be one of the best ways to see Tokyo.
