Singer Rolex Dee has finally been released after spending more than three months in detention.
The musician regained his freedom nearly two months after he was granted N100 million bail.
MC Bokujaka who has been leading the ‘free Rolex Dee’ campaign on social media, announced his freedom in a series of videos on Tuesday.
In one of the videos cited by DAILY POST, Rolex was seen lying on a bed in a hotel room urging MC Bokujaka not to capture him.
Speaking in an Instagram post, MC Bokujaka wrote, “ROLEX DEE has been released! Finally, the news many Nigerians have been waiting for! This is a moment of relief for his family, friends, supporters, and everyone who has been calling for his release.
“Truth be told, this case has generated a lot of conversations, questions, and controversies. Now, we hope everyone involved can move forward peacefully.”
DAILY POST reports that Rolex was first arrested in April 2026 for allegedly defaming Fuji musician, Taye Currency, during his interview on the Agbaletu program.
He was later released and rearrested early July after operatives of the Oyo State Police Command lured him from Lagos with a reconciliation meeting.
