Selena Gomez made a confession to her fans this Sunday in a video on Instagram Stories. The American singer lamented that her voice has changed and revealed what caused that traumatic change.
"I won't be able to change my voice. I used to vape a lot and it's very hard to quit nicotine. I just wanted to say that, if you're going through this or even if you're thinking about starting to vape, it's just not worth it. It's so absurd," she advised her followers.

“It’s silly and it changed my voice. So if you don’t like hearing my voice, I completely understand; I don’t mind. Just don’t listen to it,” she joked.
“But I’m very happy because I stopped vaping and I hope I can stay that way. It’s very difficult, but I know that if you’re going through something, you can overcome it too. It sucks,” she said.
The singer had spoken before about her voice change, but had never attributed it to vaping.
“I get weird. Sometimes I feel like my throat swells up from the inside. That’s all. It’s good,” she said almost a year ago when she was asked about it in another Instagram livestream.
