Merrell has come with me on many outdoor adventures: hiking in the Hudson Valley, exploring the mountains of El Salvador and Panama, and wandering along a sandy trek in Guatemala. I’m most often wearing their classic Moab hiking boots, but I also like their water shoes, and have been eyeing these cute sneakerina-type shoes, proving they’ve got footwear for most any occasion.
If you’re someone who also enjoys being outdoors, this is a brand that should absolutely be on your radar, if it’s not already. For a little backstory: It was founded in 1981 by two ski company execs who decided to get into the hiking gear business; in 1997, it became part of shoe industry giant Wolverine World Wide, which also owns activewear favorites like Saucony, Sweaty Betty, and Chaco, along with casual shoe brands Sperry and Hush Puppies. Over the years, Merrell itself has become well known for standout styles like the Moab hiking boot and Jungle Moc, along with its outdoor clothing and accessories (think hats, socks, and small bags). The next time you’re perusing their site, use the Merrell promo codes above and information below to find ways to trim down your order total.

Save up to 60% in the Merrell Outlet without a coupon code
The Merrell Outlet sale is ongoing, and with it comes big savings on seasonal outdoor footwear and gear. Browse the sale section for up to 60% off clothing, lightweight trail runners, active sandals, and breathable hiking shoes.
While you’re shopping, check if a Merrell promo code can be combined with existing markdowns for double the savings. You can filter within the sale section by size and color to quickly spot eligible items that fit your needs. Standout deals this fall include 50% off the Fleur Leather Slide, and 20% off the women's Jungle Mocs, which are a great shoe to throw on while walking the dog, grabbing the mail, or going on short stroll down to the hotel lobby. I’m personally debating whether or not I need to add the Fleur Leather Fisherman sandals to my cart, especially since they are also 50% off…
Filter by price to find Merrell shoes under $100
Okay, this one isn’t a coupon or promo code, but if you are looking to shop more affordably, you can filter by price to find gear, including hiking shoes, water shoes, and fleece layers, under $100. ‘Price’ is located at the very bottom of the filter section, which also includes options to narrow down your search based on color, size, activity, features, and more. Keep an eye out for active sitewide promo codes—when used on these products, it can help drop these mid-tier prices even lower.
Make the most of Merrell’s free shipping and exchange policies
Shoppers can save on shipping costs by hitting Merrell's minimum spending threshold—at $75, it’s an easy one to meet if you’re purchasing a new pair of shoes or a few hiking accessories. Per the fine print, Merrell offers free standard shipping on orders over $75 and free express shipping on orders over $125. Merrell also offers free exchanges and returns on all orders, so if you are shopping online, you can hit purchase without worrying too much about whether a particular shoe will fit.
What to do if a Merrell promo code is not working
Having trouble getting a Merrell promo code to work? There are a few ways to troubleshoot that. First, confirm that your cart meets any minimum purchase thresholds required by the coupon. Then, if applicable, check the exclusion list; many codes do not apply to sale items, new arrivals, or specific collections like the Moab series. Lastly, ensure there are no typos or formatting issues, and verify that the coupon has not expired.
