NFL Week 6 brings us our second week of byes, with Cincinnati, Miami, Detroit, and the Vikings all taking the week off. This ensures we will still have at least 1 undefeated team (Minnesota) and 1 winless team (Miami) when Week 7 rolls around. As for the rest of the league, let’s take a spin through all 32 teams and see where we have them ranked as we enter the 6th Sunday of Football.

Ranks 32-25
#32 Miami Dolphins: Look on the bright side, Fish Fans, it won’t get any worse this week. Enjoy your one-week reprieve.
#31 Tennessee Titans: The Titans will look to avoid becoming the league’s first 6-loss team this Sunday when they travel to Indy to take on the Colts. Can they win? Maybe. But it will take an effort we have yet to see from this squad.
#30 Los Angeles Chargers: The Bolts are also in the running to become the league’s first team with 6 losses. They get a slight edge since their game is in the late window on Sunday, so they probably won’t get loss #6 until a few hours after Tennessee completes this unenviable task.
#29 Arizona Cardinals: The losses keep piling up, and it doesn’t get easier this week as the Cards now travel to LA to take on an angry Rams squad. Coach Mike LaFleur is spending this year making this team his own, which he made very clear when they dealt away Marvin Harrison Jr. this week.
#28 Washington Commanders: They didn’t lose last week’s game against the Giants, but let’s face it, they lost that game. This team feels like a discombobulated mess right now.
#27 New Orleans Saints: They are reeling right now after a third straight home loss. We’ll see if hitting the road is the answer as they take on the Giants at MetLife Stadium this weekend.
#26 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The win last Thursday night, along with a mini bye, should have them feeling pretty good as they host the Steelers this Sunday. If Jalon Daniels can repeat last week’s performance, the Bucs might have something here.
#25 New York Jets: They won a game! OK, it was as ugly as a win could be, but they’ll take it. Let’s see how they follow that up this weekend in Foxboro against the Pats.
24-19

#24 Houston Texans: They got their first win, and they did it in convincing fashion against the woeful Titans. It’s not exactly a signature win, but it was a step in the right direction. This Sunday they get the Jags in London, and that would be a win worth talking about.
#23 Cleveland Browns: We flew a bit too close to the sun last week when we bumped the Browns all the way up to 13. This feels more apt for the time being.
#22 Dallas Cowboys: They haven’t taken the field since last Thursday’s debacle against the Bucs. This week they get the Packers in Lambeau on Sunday Night. At least Micah Parsons won’t be active to haunt them.
#21 Philadelphia Eagles: Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong for this team, and last week they took it to another level when they lost a game that they took a lead in with 8 seconds left on the clock. Now Jalen Hurts is going to miss time with blood clots. It’s shaping up to be a long season in Philly.
#20 Green Bay Packers: They have now won 2 straight games and just received news that Josh Jacobs may be back for week 7. Things are looking up in Green Bay.
#19 Indianapolis Colts: A loss against the Steelers has them sitting at 2-3, but they get the Titans this weekend. It feels like this is a team that may spend the season alternating wins and losses.
Ranks 18-11

#18 Atlanta Falcons: Last week’s loss against the Lamar-less Ravens was a tough one as they blew a 4th quarter lead before losing in overtime. This week they will look to get things back on track against the Bears.
#17 Chicago Bears: It may just be a blip on the radar, but we have serious concerns over this team’s defense. They looked lost last weekend against the Packers. The plan each week is to outscore the opponents, and with Caleb Williams coming back, that plan should resume this Sunday.
#16 Detroit Lions: They handled their business against the struggling Cardinals, but this defense is still suspect at best.
#15 Carolina Panthers: They come off of their bye week this Sunday to face a crippled Eagles squad. If this Panther team is for real, they need to show it this Sunday.
#14 Las Vegas Raiders: They looked exposed last week against Drake Maye and the Patriots. This week they return home, but will face the Buffalo Bills, so things aren’t getting any easier for Klint Kubiak and Co.
#13 Pittsburgh Steelers: They beat the Colts, but we still aren’t sure if they are any good or not. This week they travel to Tampa, and we still may not know when we get to next week. For now, they feel like a middle-of-the-pack type squad.
#12 New York Giants: This team doesn’t quite belong this high, but they keep winning…or at least “not losing” somehow. Slice it any way you want, but they are in first place in the NFC East.
#11 New England Patriots: They followed up their big win in Buffalo with an impressive dismantling of the Raiders. Things seem to be back on track in New England, so hosting the Jets this Sunday should be a layup. Right? Stay tuned.
Top 10

#10 Cincinnati Bengals: They get this week off to lick their wounds and get healthy. When healthy, this is one of the best offenses in the league. The defense still isn’t much to brag about, but it should be enough to keep the Bengals relevant all season long.
#9 Seattle Seahawks: The defending champs looked very beatable on Monday night and in the end that’s exactly what happened. Sam Darnold made a couple of key errors, including an interception in overtime that ended up costing them the game. They are still a very good team, but it feels like they don’t quite have last year’s magic.
#8 Baltimore Ravens: Tyler Huntley did his best Lamar Jackson impression, as he usually does, and led the Ravens to a comeback win over the Falcons. This team seems to be very well coached and will look to see if they can make it two wins sans Lamar this Sunday against the Browns.
#7 Los Angeles Rams: Two wins and three losses should have this team ranked lower, but we just can’t see putting them below teams like the Giants and Browns. This week they will look to get right against the Cardinals.
#6 Denver Broncos: They win games that it feels like they should lose. What is going to happen if/when this team figures out how to play offense? The defense has woken up, even without Patrick Surtain, and that’s enough to make the Broncos a playoff contender. Now if they could just get some steady QB play.

Top 5

#5 Jacksonville Jaguars: The London Jaguars will play their second straight game across the pond this Sunday after getting a gift of a win from the Eagles last week. This team is very good, but the offense feels a bit erratic as of late. Things won’t get easier on Sunday as they face the Demeco Ryans-led Houston Texans defense.
#4 Minnesota Vikings: They’re still undefeated, and that won’t change this weekend as they have their bye. They have skated by on a bit of an easy schedule in the early going, but they are what their record says they are. Undefeated.
#3 Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen is enough to make any team a winner. This team has a problematic defense that may hurt them in the playoffs, but for now they are the single most fun team to watch in the league.
#2 Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs come off of their bye and face the winless Chargers. Ordinarily we would call this a trap game, but the Chargers just might be one of the worst teams in the league. The Chiefs need to handle this one as it gets tougher next week in Seattle.
#1 San Francisco 49ers: Still undefeated and still rocking the league’s best offense as well as the league’s best point differential. Brock Purdy is playing at an elite level, and this defense is better than expected. This Monday, they host a reeling Commanders team as they look to stay perfect on the young season.
