Mike Malott delivered in a big way for his home country as he picked up the biggest win, and biggest highlight of his UFC career with a stunning second-round knockout of Joaquin Buckley in the main event of UFC Edmonton. After the win, is “Proper” a perennial top-10 welterweight moving forward, or is he a legit title threat?
Following the UFC’s most recent Fight Night event, MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck and Jed Meshew react to Malott’s fifth straight win, discuss who he could face next, and where Buckley goes following his third straight loss. Additionally, topics include Jasmine Jasudavicius’ huge upset win against Erin Blanchfield in the co-main event, why Blanchfield’s UFC title hopes may be gone forever, other standout moments from the finish-heavy event, and much more.
