Letter: The backbone of power generation

For many years people have dismissed the possibility of small nuclear power stations becoming the backbone of power generation. Even if solar power and wind power are considered to be valuable options, they are still greatly subject to humanly uncontrollable factors that should not be ignored. Therefore, the now safe nuclear option of small island power generation must not be excluded from our table of alternatives.
