Dua Lipa has shown us time and time again that she can pull off just about anything. Her style can just as easily go from daring and funky to easy, casual, and sporty. And this month, she took us on a journey through that fashion spectrum. Last week,
Last week, she attended her first-ever New York Yankees game wearing a burgundy crocodile coat from the Chanel Métiers d’Art 2026 collection. This Monday, to celebrate Metropolitan Opera’s opening gala for Lincoln in the Bardo, the pop star debuted a fabulous black sequin fringe gown from Maximilian Davis’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection for Ferragamo. And yesterday, she stepped out again in New York City, this time in a long sage-colored trench coat from Phoebe Philo. (All hail the queen of luxury basics.)
Lipa belted the slouchy, slightly oversize cotton outerwear at the waist, and layered it over a white quarter-zip sweatshirt and black leggings for a very off-duty New Yorker uniform. Long white socks, black running sneakers, and black sunglasses rounded out her fit, and she left her glossy black hair down, straight.
Lipa’s trench originally retailed for about $3,900, but is sadly currently sold out on the brand’s website.
The artist’s husband, Callum Turner, also went sporty and casual in a faded-blue quarter-zip layered over a bright red shirt and paired with black sweatpants and gray sneakers with lemon-yellow accents.
It’s undeniable that these two look great together.
