A struggling Napoli side are expected to turn to Scott McTominay, Kevin De Bruyne and Rasmus Hojlund when Bodo/Glimt visit the Stadio Maradona in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The Partenopei are without any points in the Champions League after the first two matchdays; Beaten 1-0 at home by Napoli in the opening round of fixtures and 3-1 away against Villarreal last Tuesday.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side were also beaten 1-0 in Serie A this weekend by a Venezia side that had not picked up any points in the league before facing Napoli. Allegri has now lost five of his first nine competitive matches in charge of the club, the worst start by a Partenopei coach in 17 years.
Napoli will have to do without Alisson Santos as well, who suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat against Venezia over the weekend. That was his first appearance after returning from the exact same hamstring issue, which he had previously suffered in September.
Alisson adds to an injury list that also includes Alessandro Buongiorno, Costantino Favasuli, Antonio Vergara and David Neres.

According to pre-match reports from Sky Sport Italia, Allegri looks set to return to a back four, having deployed a back three against Venezia in Serie A. Hojlund is expected to return at centre-forward after an unsuccessful experiment with Giovane and Lorenzo Lucca up top over the weekend. Noa Lang could also come into the side on the wing.
Sky adds that Stanislav Lobotka could drop out of the side to allow for a midfield of McTominay, De Bruyne and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, a combination that has not started together yet this season.
Kick-off is due at 20.00 BST.
