Kolon Industries (120110.KS) said on the 13th that its manufacturing division is recruiting interns for positions that can convert to full-time employment.
The company is hiring across 20 fields, including research and development, production technology, quality control, equipment, sales, management support, environment and safety. Applicants must have graduated from a four-year university or be set to graduate in February of next year. Applications are accepted through the Kolon Industries recruitment website until 10 a.m. on the 19th.
The selection process consists of a document screening, a competency test, interviews and a pre-employment medical examination. The competency test and interviews will be conducted using artificial intelligence.
Successful candidates will take part in a two-month internship, handling work equivalent to that of regular new hires in their assigned teams while being evaluated on job skills and organizational fit. Those who receive strong evaluations will be converted to permanent positions and formally join the company in March of next year.
For overseas sales roles, the company is also accepting applications from international students studying in Korea. The aim is to broaden diversity within the organization and strengthen its ability to respond to overseas markets by hiring talent with global capabilities.
Kolon Industries said it has expanded the scale of hiring compared with previous years and aims to convert 100% of those who complete the internship into permanent employees. The plan is intended to reduce uncertainty in the hiring process and offer job seekers a tangible path to employment.
"We look forward to strong interest and applications from capable people who will grow together with Kolon Industries' manufacturing division," a company official said.
