- President Ruto, who seeks to secure a second term in the 2027 General Election, expressed confidence that Kenyans are pleased with the reforms made under his administration.
President William Ruto has remained bullish about delivering the development promises he made to the nation in 2022 that catapulted him to power.
The Head of State, at a roadside rally in Tinderet, Nandi County, maintained that his administration has delivered its commitments to Kenyans and is still on course to achieve more.
"We can proudly say we are implementing a plan Kenyans voted for. Our manifesto on infrastructure, universal health coverage, education, and health is on course," he said.
He fired at his competitors, tagging them as "small-minded" and can only afford negative slurs without a trusted performance record.
President Ruto, who seeks to secure a second term in the 2027 General Election, expressed confidence that Kenyans are pleased with the reforms made under his administration.
"I can confidently face the people of Kenya and tell them what I agreed with them, we have delivered," he said.
"I am ready for next year for the people to judge our administration based on the basis of the commitment we made because we said we are going to transform the nation."
He vowed not to bow to censures from his detractors, saying that he will stop at nothing in his mission to transform the nation, as he builds on his ambitious "Singapore dream".
Mr. Ruto will be launching a series of projects while inspecting others as he tours the region in a bid to ramp up support for his 2027 presidential dream.
This comes as the opposition has accused Ruto's leadership of incompetence and rampant corruption, with many promising to reverse ills committed under the current regime.
He will contest against other presidential hopefuls, including Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, party leaders Fred Matiang'i (Jubilee), Martha Karua (PLP), Stephen Kalonzo (Wiper), Rigathi Gachagua (DCP), among others.
