Oct. 19—CLEMSON — The Tigers' trip to Tallahassee, Fla., on Halloween now has a kickoff time.
Clemson football's away matchup against Florida State is set to kick off at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, per a release from the ACC. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
FSU is 3-4 (1-3 ACC) this season coming off of a 43-35 overtime loss to No. 1 Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. Clemson is 4-2 (2-1) after a 37-0 win at home against Charleston Southern. Clemson previously played the Hurricanes on Oct. 3 and lost 41-13 at home.
The Tigers are 17-21 all time against the Seminoles but have won the last two matchups, including a 24-10 win at home last season. Tigers coach Dabo Swinney is 4-1 against FSU coach Mike Norvell. Clemson last played in Tallahassee in 2024, winning 29-13.
Clemson is set to host Virginia Tech and former Penn State coach James Franklin this weekend, while Florida State is on a bye week. The Tigers and Hokies are set to kick off at 7 p.m. with the game to be broadcast on ESPN. Clemson fell to Penn State in the 2025 Pinstripe Bowl after Franklin had been fired, but Virginia Tech quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer played for Penn State in the win.
"Got a quarterback that beat us last year who's a really good player, so it'd be a big challenge for us to to kind of finish what we call the primetime phase of our journey," Swinney said.
