The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off their second straight loss after beginning the season 3-0 and they've decided to do something about it by adding to their arsenal of weapons.
According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, the Raiders are signing third-year wide receiver Jamari Thrash to their practice squad.
Thrash, a fifth-round pick by the Browns in the 2024 NFL Draft, was waived off injured reserve last month. He is now reportedly healthy and ready to prove he belongs in the league once again.
The Raiders wide receiver room is one of the more underwhelming groups in the NFL, but Thrash is still going to have to earn his opportunities.
He joins a room that includes the likes of veterans Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Cody White, and Dareke Young. Tucker currently leads the group with 19 catches for 274 yards and one touchdown on the season.

Thrash played his college ball at Louisville (2023) and Georgia State (2019-22). During the span, he recorded 167 catches for 2,610 yards and 18 touchdowns, earning first-team All-Sun Belt honors in 2022 and second-team All-ACC honors in 2023. He also had four rushing attempts for 22 yards and one touchdown.
