Local sources in Farah province say a young man was stabbed to death following a confrontation between two individuals in the province.
The sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daiy on Sunday that the incident occurred on Saturday in Nowbahar village, in Farah province’s provincial center.
According to the sources, two young men named Mirwais and Zabihullah initially got into an altercation, after which one attacked the other with a knife.
The sources added that local residents took the young man’s body to Farah Provincial Hospital.
The incident comes amid growing concerns over violent clashes and killings among Afghan citizens.
