Napoli’s injury troubles are beginning to ease, as both Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Alisson Santos have returned to Massimiliano Allegri’s travelling squad for Saturday’s Serie A match away against Venezia.
The Partenopei are hoping to get back to winning ways against Venezia in Serie A after slipping to their second Champions League defeat in as many matches in a 3-1 loss away against Villarreal earlier this week.
Allegri has lost four of his first eight matches since becoming Napoli head coach: More defeats than any other Partenopei head coach at the beginning of a new season for 17 years.
They will be hoping that a match against 20th-placed Venezia, without a point after six matches of the 2026-27 season, will be an opportunity to lift morale.
Napoli’s travelling squad for the Venezia match has been confirmed, and in a positive update, Anguissa, who has missed the last two matches with an adductor issue, is back and available for selection.

Alisson has also been unavailable since mid-September with a hamstring injury but has been named in the squad to face Venezia as well. Allegri will also be able to call upon Giovane, who did not feature against Villarreal earlier this week as he is not on Napoli’s UEFA squad list.
