Less than 10% of the NASCAR Cup Series season remains.
It dipped to single digits with the conclusion of the Freeway Insurance 500 on Oct. 18 at Phoenix Raceway. It was the seventh of 10 Chase races and the 33rd of 36 events overall in 2026.
The winner: Tyler Reddick.
He led 18 laps and beat runner-up Ryan Blaney and third-place finisher Chase Elliott.

Kyle Larson had a rough day, starting 22nd and settling into 34th after a flat tire sent him into the wall with 30 laps to go. But he still rests atop the standings.
From 2020 through 2025, Phoenix hosted the championship race. It won't decide the title this year, but it still held a prominent position on the playoff calendar.
