The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader in Imo State, Ibeh Franklin Kennedy Chukwuemeka, has expressed confidence in the party’s prospects ahead of the 2027 presidential election, citing Governor Hope Uzodimma’s development projects and political mobilisation efforts.
Chukwuemeka, who also serves as the party’s ground forces commander, said infrastructure projects and political activities undertaken by Uzodimma in Imo State and across the South-East had helped strengthen the APC’s presence in the region.
In a statement issued in Owerri on Wednesday, he expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would win the 2027 presidential election, attributing the party’s prospects to the governor’s leadership and development initiatives.
He said the APC could consolidate its support base ahead of the next general election.

The Imo APC youth leader also commended the party’s National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, for his nationwide mobilisation efforts, which he said had strengthened grassroots structures and encouraged young people to participate in the party’s activities.
He further acknowledged the roles of the Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, and Seyi Tinubu in youth engagement and political mobilisation.
Chukwuemeka said their efforts had helped the party connect with younger Nigerians and mobilise support for the administration of President Tinubu.
He also praised Seyi Tinubu, describing him as an example of a supportive son, while acknowledging the contributions of other youth-focused figures to the party’s mobilisation activities.
He said: “The combination of Uzodinma’s developmental initiatives in the South-East and the nationwide engagement efforts of APC youth leaders had positioned the party to approach the next presidential election with confidence”.
Chukwuemeka maintained that the APC’s mobilisation activities and growing political presence would pose a challenge to opposition parties, declaring that the contest had, in his assessment, “been won and lost already.”
