Charlize Theron may have walked the red carpet alone at the Sixth Annual Academy Museum Gala, but the real highlight of her evening in Los Angeles came when cameras caught her sharing a tender moment with her two daughters.
The South African-born Hollywood icon attended the glitzy event on Saturday, 17 October, where she was honoured with the Icon Award in recognition of her remarkable cinematic career. While the formal red carpet was a solo affair, a warmly lit backstage setting told a different story.
In a candid clip captured by People magazine, Charlize and her daughters shared a genuine, heartfelt embrace amid the celebratory atmosphere of the gala's after-party. Both girls, dressed elegantly for the occasion, looked every bit the part alongside their award-winning mother.
Charlize adopted Jackson in 2012. Jackson is now 14. August joined the family in 2015 and is now 12. Despite the prestige of the evening, it was this quiet, joyful family moment that captured attention online.
