Another lifestyle spot is coming to Bandar Utama
Called The Capitol by 1 Utama City Group, the new six-level lifestyle podium will soft-open on 16 November 2026, bringing together a mix of food and beverage outlets, wellness services, retail offerings, and everyday conveniences.
The development is directly connected to the upcoming BU11 station on the LRT3 Shah Alam Line.

Here's what you can expect at The Capitol
The Capitol is part of an integrated development featuring two Grade A corporate office towers above its six-level lifestyle podium.
Beyond its office spaces, the development is designed to cater to people working nearby, residents in the surrounding neighbourhoods, and visitors looking for places to eat, shop, or unwind.
Its first wave of confirmed brands includes a mix of international names and local favourites, with more outlets expected to be announced ahead of its grand opening.

1. There will be plenty of food and drink options
Foodies will have several dining options to look forward to, including Singapore's premium ramen concept Kiwami Ramen & Gyoza Bar, South Korean coffee brand Bean Brothers, and South African fast-casual chain Galito's.
The lineup will also include Malaysian restaurant chain India Gate, contemporary Western dining concepts The Pantry by Bricks and Butter & Oaks and Ivory, as well as homegrown Nashville-inspired fried chicken spot Fowlboys Diner.
Meanwhile, Indonesian quick-service restaurant SE'INDONESIA will make its Malaysian debut at The Capitol, specialising in traditional smoked beef rice.
Other confirmed food and beverage brands include ZUS Signature Coffee, Ningji, Seoul Espresso, Dodo Korea, Sushi Plus, All About Chew, Anytime Acai, Inside Scoop, Ikat Tepi B289, hétam GO, Pulau Ketam Yong Tau Foo, and Old Nanyang Coffee.
The development will also house Qra, a neighbourhood grocer offering everyday shopping convenience.

2. Healthcare and wellness services will be available
The Capitol will also feature Health Capitol, a dedicated healthcare hub bringing together more than 120 medical practitioners across various specialties.
This means visitors and nearby office workers will have access to a range of healthcare services within the development.
For everyday essentials and personal care, Guardian will also be among the confirmed tenants.
Those looking to stay active can look forward to PUMP Fitness, while Premier Star, Eyez Optometry, and MAC DUNNO + HAIR SALON will add more options for sports, eye care, and grooming.

3. There will be spaces for work and childcare
Common Ground, Malaysia's coworking space network, will be part of the development, providing workspaces for individuals and businesses.
Early childhood education and childcare group Cutie Cottage is also among the confirmed brands, giving parents another childcare option in the area.
The development's corporate towers will feature modern office spaces, while The Oasis will offer landscaped areas and collaborative spaces spread across four levels of the office podium, connected by sky bridges.

4. Pickleball and badminton courts are in the works
Those looking for recreational activities will have more to look forward to on Level 16, which is planned to feature pickleball and badminton courts alongside other recreational spaces.
The level will also house SkyHall, a 10,000 sq ft event hall designed for conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions, and celebrations.
However, SkyHall is targeted to open in the second quarter of 2027, so it will not be part of the initial November soft opening.
The Capitol is scheduled for a soft opening on 16 November 2026, with additional brands and facilities expected to be announced closer to its grand opening.
