The Ravensofficially listed Lamar Jackson as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against Cincinnati, leaving open the possibility of his return after a two-game absence. Jackson was limited in all three practices this week as he continued recovering from the ankle injury he suffered against Tennessee on Oct. 4. The quarterback said Friday that he has a high ankle sprain and that his swelling has decreased, but he could not commit to playing.
“Right now, I’m heading in the right direction,” Jackson said.
His potential return would provide a significant boost after Baltimore managed only 10 points against Cleveland. Jackson has completed 68 of 96 passes for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception this season, producing a 119.6 passer rating. He also has rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
Tyler Huntley would make his third consecutive start if Jackson is inactive.
Baltimore received encouraging news elsewhere on offense. Center Cam Jurgens practiced fully throughout the week and received no game designation, putting him in position to make his Ravens debut. Rashod Bateman, Matthew Hibner, Vega Ioane, John Simpson and Andrew Vorhees also finished the week as full participants without game designations.
The defensive outlook was less favorable. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins was ruled out with a knee injury, while outside linebacker Tavius Robinson was ruled out with a pectoral injury that coach Jesse Minter said will end his season.
Robinson recorded 18 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble through six games. Hawkins has 30 tackles, including eight against Cleveland. Cornerback T.J. Tampa, whose return window from injured reserve opened this week, is listed as doubtful with a knee injury. Defensive tackle Broderick Washington is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
Cincinnati listed no players with game designations, leaving the Bengals positioned to enter the division matchup without injury-related availability restrictions on their final report.
