Seven teachers from seven disciplines under the Life Science School of Khulna University (KU) have received the ‘Research Excellence Award-2025’ in recognition of their contributions and achievements in research.
The awards were introduced for the first time by the Life Science School, based on an evaluation of research activities conducted between January and December 2025.
The award recipients are Professor Dr Md Yamin Kabir of the Agrotechnology Discipline, Professor Dr Md Murchalin Billah of the Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Discipline, Assistant Professor Sadhan Chandra Swarnakar of the Environmental Science Discipline, Professor Dr Alokesh Kumar Ghosh of the Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology Discipline, Professor Dr Md Iftekhar Shams of the Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline, Associate Professor Md Monirul Islam of the Pharmacy Discipline, and Associate Professor Dr Milton Halder of the Soil, Water and Environment Science Discipline.
