Strictly Come Dancing star Will Best said he and partner Tobi Rose are “so lucky” as they welcome their first child together.
The 41-year-old, best known as the co-host of Big Brother, announced the birth of his son Sonny Best in an Instagram post on Thursday.
Best proudly showed off his newborn in a carousel of photos, which opened with a video of the broadcaster jokingly showing off a “really cool new thing I got today” before panning the camera to reveal his son.
He also included several sweet snaps of himself and Rose cradling their infant, along with a photo of Sonny in a car seat carrier covered in a pastel yellow blanket with the word “lovely” embroidered on it.
In the caption, Best wrote: “Well who do we have here then?!
“Welcome to the world Sonny Best, you little smasher.
“@tobiroseofficial you’re a miracle and I love you so much.
“A couple of tired new parents (see last slide) but oh my goodness aren’t we lucky.”
The comments were inundated with congratulatory messages, including from fellow Strictly stars such as his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell – who welcomed her first child with YouTuber Joe Sugg earlier this year.

“Yay I’m so happy for you and Tobi, and Bowie is so excited to meet little Sonny,” she wrote.
Fleur East, with whom Best hosts the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, commented: “Awww yay!!! Welcome Sonny Best! So excited for you!
“Congratulations to you and Tobi. Hope you’re all doing well. Go and smash it on that ballroom floor for your little family!”
Others offering their well-wishes include Strictly judge Oti Mabuse, as well as many of his fellow contestants such as Dame Sarah Storey, Graeme Hall and John Nellis.
Strictly – It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor and social media star GK Barry also offered their congratulations.
Best announced he was expecting his first child in a post to Instagram earlier this year recapping his summer, which featured a mirror selfie alongside his fiancee with his hand on her growing baby bump.
Best has been in a relationship with Rose for almost 15 years, and he asked the stylist to marry him during a romantic getaway to Italy in 2024.
He has worked as a broadcaster for more than 15 years, beginning his screen career as a presenter on T4 before appearing on This Morning, BBC Three and Viva.
Best also recently won Celebrity Mastermind with the specialist subject of Rivals star Danny Dyer.
Best, who is currently starring in the latest series of Strictly, will return to the ballroom floor this Saturday with partner Buswell as they dance a jive to Crocodile Rock by Sir Elton John.
It was announced he would be joining the show in July, and at the time he described the gig as “an absolute dream”.
