State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir will lead the Bangladesh delegation at the seventh Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Thursday.
He attended a gala dinner hosted by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at Gulustan Palace on Wednesday evening.
During the dinner, Kobir met and exchanged greetings with heads of state and government and ministers attending the event.
The summit's plenary session will take place at the Baku Convention Centre, where the state minister is scheduled to deliver a speech.
He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit.
