AT&T Promo Codes: $50 Off This October 2026

Major wireless carriers: A necessary evil if you travel a lot, have a family, or are just interested in coverage that’s reliable and widespread. AT&T is the third-largest provider in the US (first for 5G) and has the largest coverage map. I’ve had various AT&T plans for more than a decade, first for just myself and now for my whole family, even though I only get one cell bar at my house and have to stand in a 5-square-foot patch of yard to make a phone call. I’ve also lost entire days of my life fighting unexpected random charges and upsells. (Verizon is somehow worse.) But anyway! AT&T is fine. It has all the latest phones, and there are some legitimately good perks, like no roaming in Canada or Mexico with select plans. If you know you’re going to have to go with one of the big guys, don’t sign up without checking out the discounts below first.

Get the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 for $0

The new Galaxy Z Fold8 is a phone that caters to modern-day needs. People now spend hours watching videos on their smartphones. The wider, shorter, and lighter Galaxy Z Fold8 is perfect for watching videos while still fitting in your pocket. In his review, WIRED editor Julian Chokkatu wrote, “The new Fold8 has a 10:16 aspect ratio for the front cover screen, and when opened, reveals a 4:3 inner display, both of which play well with all kinds of videos, whether that’s clips on YouTube or Instagram Reels. Also, the unfolded 7.6-inch inner screen is ideal for reading websites or ebooks when the phone is held in vertical orientation. That makes it more familiar and comfortable for consuming content, which is the lion’s share of what people use smartphones for these days.”

You can pre-order the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, complete with a new design and features, including Samsung Galaxy AI, for as low as $0 per month with an eligible trade-in (was $53 per month).

Up to $1,900 Off the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra

The new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a phone that caters to modern-day needs. People now spend hours watching videos on their smartphones and need a bigger, clearer screen for everyday tasks like watching videos on their phones. In his review, WIRED editor Julian Chokkattu wrote that the battery life is stronger on the Ultra, with its larger 5,000-mAh cell that was able to hit more than six hours of screen-on time. The Fold8 Ultra's 200-megapixel main sensor performs well in a variety of lighting conditions, but it's the 10-megapixel 3X optical zoom that gives it a leg up over other phones.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for in a new phone, you’re in luck! When you switch to AT&T, you can get up to $1,900 off the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra with an eligible trade-in. Plus, you’ll receive up to $800 per line in rewards when you break your contract and switch to AT&T.

Save Over $600 a Year With AT&T Fiber

AT&T Fiber claims to be the fastest internet network in America. You can find out for yourself (for less) with this new deal. When first-time customers sign up for Fiber now, they’ll get 1 Gigabyte for only $37 per month. That’s over $600 in savings per year!

Are There AT&T Promos for Existing Customers?

But I already have AT&T, you might be saying—new deals never apply to me. Do you have AT&T internet, though? If, like me, you have AT&T for your phone plan and Xfinity or CenturyLink for internet, did you know you can save 20% on your AT&T bill every month by bundling your internet service with unlimited wireless? This applies to both current phone customers and current internet customers who don’t have both plans.

AT&T wants to reward your loyalty: when you sign up for AT&T Fiber and eligible wireless plans, you can get up to $150 in AT&T Visa Reward Cards. Be sure to check out the AT&T deals page for more details on that offer, along with other great ways to save.

AT&T Discounts for Professionals and Students

One of the reasons I went with AT&T in the first place is that my husband is a college professor, and we get a generous 25% off our bill. This 25% discount applies to all teachers, as well as active military, veterans, first responders, and many medical professionals. Not one of the above? Students and union members can save $10 per line per month, and union members can also get 20% off accessories like cases and items you used to get with your phones, like chargers and cords.

AT&T Promo: 20% Off for Military and Veterans

AT&T wants to thank military members and their families with a 20% discount for military and veterans. Members can save up to 20% on eligible wireless plans. To qualify for this 20% AT&T military and veteran discount, all you need to do is show proof of eligibility at sign-up.

How Can I Make My AT&T Plan Cheaper?

Not a new customer; not in a position to bundle; and not a teacher or first responder, in the military, or a student? All is not lost on the discount front. You can save over $800 a year on AT&T Wireless by bundling four unlimited wireless plans with your current internet plan. (Savings are based on a 20% discount on four voice lines with eligible internet service, plus a $10/month discount with eligible AutoPay & paperless bill, which starts within two bills.)

You can also get a discount on a new phone with an eligible trade-in, but the best deal yet may be that AT&T lets you try its wireless free for 30 days. Keep your current service and phone number while trying out AT&T’s network on your device—no catches or commitments. You don’t even need a credit card. It’s a great way to see if you get good service where you’ll be using the phone most.

Get 20% Off an AT&T Premium Plan

Don’t need four unlimited wireless plans? Check whether your employer offers a discount—a couple of mine have in the past. You can save $10 per month per line on the unlimited plan. Check here to see if your workplace qualifies. With this AT&T discount, select business employees will be rewarded just for working where they do and can save 20% per line on the AT&T Premium 2.0SM plan with an employer discount. This deal will be credited within three bill cycles and is available to qualified employees, students, and authorized individuals of eligible companies, universities, and sponsoring organizations with a qualifying business or service agreement. Just validate eligibility online or provide a valid employee badge, pay stub, student ID, or approved proof of eligibility in-store.

Save More With AT&T Family Plans

If you want multiple people on your phone line or are adding a line for your child’s first phone, an AT&T Family Plan is one of the most cost-effective ways to make the change. With AT&T Family Plans, you can mix and match any of AT&T’s unlimited plans to get great deals and serious discounts on smartphones for each family member. Depending on what you choose, plans start at only $36 per month per line (for 4 lines).

Get Two AT&T 55+ Lines for $35 Per Month

If your parent, grandparent, or you (if over 55 years old) is looking to switch phone providers, be sure to snag this bundle deal exclusively for senior citizens. With AT&T 55+ plans, you can bundle two lines of unlimited wireless and home internet from AT&T for $99 per month if you’re 55 years old or older. That’s a total of $550 in annual savings compared to an AT&T Value 2.0 plan with 2 lines and Internet 300! You'll just need to choose your wireless lines, which cost $35 per month each. Then, depending on whether your home is eligible for AT&T Fiber or AT&T Internet Air, you’ll pay $29 per month for home internet. Plus, you can get AT&T Internet Backup included, so if your internet goes down, your wireless data can provide coverage so you stay connected.

AT&T Offers Phones for Less Than $10 Per Month

Switching up phone plans doesn’t have to be confusing or expensive. Right now, AT&T has a wide range of phone options for $10 a month or less. This offer is only for new lines and doesn’t include a trade-in. The $10-per-month AT&T phone deal includes many highly sought-after phones, like the Motorola Razr+ 2026, which used to be $29 per month, or the iPhone 16 for Apple-heads, which used to be $21 per month and is now only $3. Or if you’re looking for something more minimalist, the Apple iPhone Air, which was $28 per month, is now only $10 per month. There are even more discounted phones available for the $10-per-month-or-less deal, so be sure to check them out to see if there’s a phone for you! (Spoiler: there is.)
