The benchmark index opened 3.18 points lower at 1,592.57.
The index is expected to trend between the 1,590 and 1,605 range for today.
In the crypto market, Bitcoin fell to RM332,548.
Ethereum fell to RM9,755, while Solana was down at RM426.
