Kirkland Don Donovan, 27, of North Sydney, was charged with committing an indecent act after two women reported that a man had exposed his penis to them during separate incidents at Petersfield Park in Westmount on July 19 and Aug. 2, 2025.
Cape Breton Regional Police later charged him with sexual assault after a third woman filed a complaint about an alleged incident at a Sydney store on July 31, 2025.
Donovan pleaded not guilty to the charges and stood trial in Sydney provincial court on Aug. 26, 2026.
On Monday, a judge ruled that Donovan was not guilty of wilfully performing an indecent act in a public place and dismissed the sexual assault charge.
