Samsung has launched the Galaxy F70 in India, expanding its F-series smartphone lineup. The new model follows the Galaxy F70e, launched in February, and the Galaxy F70 Pro, which arrived in August. It sits between the two models and shares several features with last year’s Galaxy A17.
The Galaxy F70 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the screen, while a waterdrop notch houses the 13MP front camera. On the back, the phone has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Samsung has not confirmed the Android and One UI versions included with the phone. Its Flipkart listing suggests Android 15, which would be unusual for a smartphone launching in late 2026. However, other indications point to One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. The software details remain unconfirmed until Samsung provides an official statement.

The Galaxy F70 also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging. Additionally, it carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. These features round out the phone’s hardware alongside its AMOLED display and triple rear camera setup.
Samsung offers the Galaxy F70 in black and violet, with two RAM and storage configurations. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs INR 19,999 ($210), while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at INR 22,999 ($242). The phone is listed on Flipkart and will go on sale on October 20.
