By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School says its students are not responsible for the graffiti and inappropriate writing at the bus stop in San Jose Succotz, Cayo.
In a statement dated October 14, Principal Bay Rivas said the school is aware of community concerns and social media comments blaming its students, since they often use the bus stop.
The school says it has video footage that clearly shows the person responsible for the vandalism, and that the individual is not affiliated with Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School.
“We wish to categorically clarify that our students are not responsible for this damage,” the statement said.
The school acknowledged the community’s frustration, noting that public facilities must be respected and preserved for everyone.
