The alleged shooter, Reece Anthony Salcedo, 29, of Gordon, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday, October 10, when bail was denied. It was his birthday.

Court documents state that on October 9, four teenagers were travelling in a red Ford Falcon along Abrahams Crescent and Beaumaris Street, Conder, when they came upon a red Hyundai i30 hatchback.
The Hyundai was parked with its lights turned off and when the Ford approached, one of the teenagers saw a man sitting inside.
As the driver of the Ford continued, the Hyundai completed a three-point turn and was directly behind the other car with high beams on, flashing.
The teenage driver began accelerating and the other vehicle is said to have followed along Tom Roberts Avenue to the intersection of Box Hill Avenue and Tharwa Drive.
The documents state the teenagers then allegedly heard "a loud bang" and what they thought was the sound of a rock hitting the Ford.
The alleged victim screamed and said words to the effect of: "I've been shot".
At 9.58pm one of the other teenagers phoned triple zero and said: "They're shooting at us, they've shot [the alleged victim]. We need help."
The operator directed the group to attend Tuggeranong Police Station. When they arrived, police saw blood and an entrance wound on the alleged victim's left lower back with no exit wound.
Officers also saw a hole in the boot lid of the Ford and another in the back of the right rear seat.
The injured teenager was taken to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics with serious injuries.
Later that evening, a witness spoke to police and said Salcedo had a firearm and had told him he was the one who shot the Ford.
About 11.30pm, police saw a man climb out of a bush on Greaves Place and get into a waiting red Audi.
A short time later, the Audi was found parked outside Salcedo's home in Gordon.
He was arrested and charged with using a firearm to endanger human life. It is not known if he has entered a plea.
An empty .22 calibre magazine was also discovered at the roundabout of Box Hill Avenue and Tharwa Drive.
Salcedo remains in custody with bail denied and the case is set to return next month.
